The farm has a total of 7 bins for grain storage. They are capable of storing approximately 66,000 bushels of grain. The following are the sizes:
1 – 36′ diameter – 22,000 bushels
4 – 21′ diameter – 5,000 to 5,500 bushels each
2 – 30′ diameter – 12,000 bushels each
In addition, there is a 24′ drying bin, a wet grain holding bin, and a grain cleaner on a concrete pad covered with a 12′ x 20′ hoop style structure.
An elevator leg is used to transfer grain to the wet holding bin and to the drying bin. Augers are used to transfer the dried gain to the storage bins.
